چکیده

Phosphorus (P) deficiency in soil limits crop yields and can be managed by P fertilizers. But mere applying fertilizers alone may not effective justifying its bioavailability. At present global reserves are declining an increasing way which urges us to find out alternatives. Thus, the work was taken prepare phosphocompost using water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) as feedstock, termite, normal bulking agents cum decomposers enriched with single super phosphate. The effect of on rice(var.ADT-43) productivity, availability uptake evaluated comparing various (single phosphate, rock di-ammonium nano phosphate) combined or without phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB). experiment laid a completely randomized design seven treatments including absolute control replicated thrice. Phosphocompost produced termite microbes come superior quality early maturity compared soil. Pot culture study results revealed that rice growth, yield, were significantly (p<0.05) higher SSP + PSB, Nano +PSB treated plants, followed PSB. cost fertilizer (Rs/ha) related yield (kg/ha) found low (Rs.1132/-) than (Rs.1530/-) (Rs.2518/-). Further, PSB helps optimizing long run through solubilization thus sustained uptake. investigation brings light valorization compost will economically viable alternative for

Phosphate and Potassium Solubilizing Bacteria Effect on Mineral Uptake, Soil Availability and Growth of Eggplant

Experiments were conducted to evaluate the potential of phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB) Bacillus megaterium and potassium solubilizing bacteria (KSB) Bacillus mucilaginosus inoculated in nutrient limited soil planted with eggplant. Results showed that rock P and K materials either applied singly or in combination did not significantly enhance soil availability of P and K. PSB increased hi...

Role of Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria (psb) in Enhancing P Availability and Promoting Cotton Growth

Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) mediate the soil processes such as decomposition, nutrient mobilization, mineralization, solubilization, nitrogen fixation and growth hormone production. Microorganisms having the phosphate solubilizing capacity can convert the insoluble phosphates into soluble forms through the production of organic acids. Inoculation of seed with P-solubilizing micr...

The effect of isolated phosphorus solubilizing bacteria and molasses on Soluble and available P in wheat straw medium

Phosphorus solubilizing microorganisms are capable of transforming insoluble phosphorus (P) forms to soluble and bioavailable P. The aim of the present study was to isolate P solubilizing bacteria from forest soils around the rock phosphate (RP) mine of Koh-e-SepidLar in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad province and evaluate their ability in Sperber culture medium and wheat straw medium in the presen...

Role of phosphate solubilizing bacteria on rock phosphate solubility and growth of aerobic rice.

Use of phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) as inoculants has concurrently increased phosphorous uptake in plants and improved yields in several crop species. The ability of PSB to improve growth of aerobic rice (Oryza sativa L.) through enhanced phosphorus (P) uptake from Christmas island rock phosphate (RP) was studied in glasshouse experiments. Two isolated PSB strains; Bacillus spp. PSB9 a...
